Course Description

Do you have a great business idea, but have not started your small business? The six course Entrepreneurship Certificate Series training addresses the top areas you'll need to know. Take the four required core courses. Then hone your skills in the area of your choice by taking two electives below.

How to Start and Operate a Small Business
How To Develop a Business Plan
Accounting & Record Keeping in a Small Business
How To Promote and Market Your Business

Choose two electives from the list of six:
Marketing & Business Management
Branding and Logos
Search Engine Marketing Optimization
QuickBooks Online
Basic Bookkeeping

Other Information

To be eligible to receive a certificate, students must complete all of the courses with 90% attendance.

Students who complete the Entrepreneurship Certificate Series will receive 5 free hours of specialized business consulting with the Collin Small Business Development Center, including free in depth market research reports.

Upon successful completion of all requirements, email Phyllis Martin to request your certificate. Please allow up to 4 weeks to receive your certificate.
