Preserving Historic Interiors (INDS9520)

Course Description

Issues for historic architecture deal with the inherent performance characteristics of buildings created by an earlier construction technology and design approach, in other words, how to rehabilitate the old structural systems with the new. Expanding scope of recycling the existing architectural fabric requires an interdisciplinary circle of practitioners to mediate between design, construction, and the implementation of the preservation law.
